Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

Tell a fib. Honestly, there is no way to check someone’s actual numbers at another company. As long as you believe you can actually do the next job, why not
I think you’re confused or just don’t know how to follow a thread. I’m advocating for OP to lie. Then I responded to AE1 and let him know that if you try and verify someone’s performance metrics as a “one off” you are opening yourself up to the possibility of a major lawsuit. Smh
Inflating the numbers is probably fine, but make sure the rest of your story lines up. Bigger deals often require higher levels of approval. Most interviewers are going to be much more interested in your sales process/story telling than the numbers anyway.
I agree with the others. Lie. These days, background checks are basically limited to verifying whether you worked for a company and maybe your title. No HR dept is going to release their sales numbers for the benefit of the company hiring you. I’m sure you’ve closed a few key deals larger than 75k. Focus on those and you should be fine.
