How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

Usually youd take the paid days off first. You can still go “over” your accrued days and take pto usually. But if you know you need more days, it depends on the company but sometimes you can take unpaid days off. Usually though youd take the pto first and deplete that - there isnt really a reason not to do this.
If you’re salaried I think this is extremely hard to do in the payroll systems. I’d imagine that would be an option for hourly workers though
There are some payroll systems out there that if you’re salaried they don’t allow the functionality of unpaid time off. It can only come from a type of bank. I’ve only worked with a few systems…maybe they were outdated.
Not sure about industry, but I work in mid PA firm and am allowed to take 1 week unpaid time off after I use all my PTO (the max I can take PTO continuously is 3 weeks)
It depends on the company. Some will let you take unpaid time and some companies like the one I work for have policies against it. They really only let you take unpaid time if you are completely out of PTO and there is some sort of emergency.
