I'd copy the most junior associate. If they're really junior (stub/first) I'd go one rung up.
Agreed. The junior is fine and they/you can forward anything important
Yes, that way I’m less likely to check in if I don’t hear back since I can see the process moving
If you’re a transactional paralegal and you’re ordering something important for delivery the morning of a closing, have the full associate team copied. Otherwise you can end up with unhappy folks waiting on a good standing certificate or charter filing sitting in a West Coast paralegal’s inbox at 8am Eastern with no one else copied. Not that it ever happened to me, of course…

Yes this.
I do.
Yes, or at least forward me the full chain when you’re done so I have it for my records. Sometimes having an email record of something being done is the only way I’ll remember it actually got done when I panic about it weeks down the road.

I would prefer not to for routine emails, maybe forward me the first communication and I’ll let you know if I want to remain looped in, or when to update me.
Yes so we know what’s going on when you’re sick or quit
Yes

Yes, to stay updated on the status of my matters without having to check in
Depends on what it is. Garden variety minutiae, no (like non-closing related corporate governance stuff). Anything closing related, 100% yes. Just depends on the urgency
Yes, so then I can figure out how to do whatever or who to contact

Yes. .10
Not usually unless it’s very time sensitive or there’s some problem or issue that I’m getting pressure from partner/client to get solved
