For me, neither. If forced to choose I supposed the Woodlands because I avoid 290 at all costs.
290 is not bad at all now that construction is completed. 45 is significantly more stressful to drive with much more narrow lanes.
The woodlands is way too status conscious for me. Maybe that’s true of all the burbs but that’s the one I have immediate experience with

You are right about the burbs. Some think they are better than self. Lol
boooo live downtown, come live in heights or montrose
it's more city environment, young people demographic, character. also, you miss the traffic pressure into the city on the morning, as well as the pressure out of the city in afternoon
