I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

I agree! Let little girls be little. They need to be able to play without thinking about their appearance.
It does not matter what a child is wearing only that they are learning. Your job isn’t to police their nails. It’s to teach. them wearing nails IS them being little girls. You’re just suck in the 1960s we will say since you have language of the elderly.
Good afternoon everyone, I am stressing the Importance of God's promises of protection prayed up & declare over the minds of our students & the immature minds of the parents to be strengthened to enforce the proper behaviors of their children. The importance of obeying school rules & making the necessary connections & similarities of rules being like laws & Laws will be enforce by proper authorities invite Juvenile Law Enforcement officers into class to stress the level of detention& imprisonment that is done when we behave like common criminals. They must know the importance of obeying the teachers instructions, at all times. May intense 30 min class time be set aside & taught by Clergy & behavioral therapist & occupational therapist be taught at least twice weekly stressing the importance of being considerate of the feelings of others & how the meaness of others would make them feel. Check your heart & Be Kind signs are placed stretegically where they help the children think 1st before acts of harm or uncourteous treatment. receive we can teach our children the importance of treating people the way we want to be treated. And our girls be taught the beauty of their uncostumed appearance in school to keep down unnecessary attention that would cause distractions & disruption of class. Help them to see that our beautiful can be very distracting & distraction or disruption isn't even needed in school. that they be not give into cosmetics until there's a dance or party upcoming importance of make up & nails are for going on outings that require looking our very best NOT IN school they can keep their faces hair & nails fresh clean moistized & set boundaries in there behavior with the boys & be lady like & modest in their manners especially in school. Amen🙏🏽
You are horrifying. You want to teach students like criminals to teach them to blindly obey authority? Jesus wouldn’t want that. He broke the law when he had to. Morality isn’t always the same as law - some laws are unjust and made purely for control and punishment. Of course, we don’t want any of our students in jail, so it’s important to be lawful in general, but your plan isn’t going to help anyone. Bringing cops in will just make students resent you. You grew up in a church (like most, but not all churches) that weaponized religion to control you and you use your position as a teacher to control students too much. Your brain is wired around authority, control, and punishment. I hope you’re able to break free from your psychological cage and use religion as a motivation for love and acceptance first instead of control and punishment first. Punishment should always be a last resort. Don’t be a cop of a teacher.
I agree. I work with middle schoolers and they can’t handle these fake nails. If you can’t do basic tasks, then you don’t get to wear these giant nails you don’t need. Seventh graders are too old to ask me to help them zip their coat.
It’s a different version of high heels. Performative beauty items that make women functionally helpless. Bothers me a lot. We have girls getting the extreme nails here that leave them unable to do many simple functions.
Adult-sizing of kids once again, like parents being buddies with them.

On the other hand, I had a girl who was about to punch another girls until she realized she would break a nail in the process. Crisis averted. Otherwise, yes, I agree. In MS or up I have no issue with telling them to figure out the buttons or zips or be cold, but I couldn’t do that to a little. Just curious - did they even come to school bottoned and zipped?
As I was saying we must enforce the school rules & seek the support of Juvenile law enforcement to speak to every class & explain the importance of following the rules because rules are the same as laws & it is illegal to break laws and rules. Their should be detention reinstalled for the difficult students. Any parent who has a problem with the teacher instructing their students in their class have the authority to press minor charges against both the student & parent for non compliance. The detention class must be ran by an officer of the juvenile law enforcement. Not just physically but prayerfully so as well.
It’s how our society pushes the beauty angle on our little girls (and women in general). Our girls are often /frequently/too frequently openly sexualized by others on social media sites without a revolt by the tech co . Technology has only magnetized and emboldened this behavior and dynamic
When I was growing up; you’d never see this in elementary school. It definitely speaks to what our society is comfortable with. For tech companies, sexualizing young girls is part of their plan/their pull/the addiction piece, hence why mental health problems has risen exponentially in our young.
These nails should be banned in elementary. If it’s a distraction, which it is- it’s gone.
I wish these 11-, 12-, and 13-year-old middle schooler girls would stop wearing lip gloss and curling their damn lashes like they are going out on dates.
I wish these under 18-year-old people would stop talking, having political opinions, and would just read, write, and regurgitate the school line without critical, independent thought. In fact, all schools would be best if these little people under 18 years old would just go away.
If a child cannot do basic daily tasks with them on, I message the parents and explain how challenging the day was- 50/50 split on what the parents do! I’ve found that after around day 2 of struggling to exist and function in the classroom the child usually rips those things off herself. Not my business to police nails in the classroom, but also not my job to perform tasks for a child that they can do themselves. I’ve always been a nail girly! I cannot do anything at all with fake nails so I save them for special occasions, but I try to offer tips when I see a child struggling! I’ve absolutely kept a little baggie of fake nails in my pocket all day to send home with a kid to glue back on when she gets home because she was sick of dealing with them all day 😂
I’ve found that probably 75% of the time the child embarked on this little journey with 0 support, help, or permission from a parent lol!
I say let them suffer with unzipped coats and fail them at the tasks they can't perform.
It’s the parents that have to not allow it but have you met 30 something parents lately? This whole generation is about soft parenting. Try eating out and watch kids running around or they need to be kept quiet by staring at a screen.
The school can ban it. Our schools banned fidget spinners, slime, peanut butter, desserts- re; allergies etc
This is such a non issue, let girls be confident and figure out the problems themselves its called growing independence.
Girls don’t need fake nails to be confident… and to imply this kind of reminds me of the 50s. Fake nails on a 3rd grader is fun to ‘play’ with, just like other toys/dressing up -imo
Also, these ‘little’ things can derail the lesson or the teachers instructions, and they are generally just disruptive to everyone
Try being an elementary art teacher when the nails fall off doing clay projects SMH
It's time to put our foots down, fellow teachers. Instead of allowing frustration & being upset to take over, we must try to at least command our day. I'm not trying to force anyone to join Christianity. I'm just sharing what works for us who love & have faith in God that is in us & our hearts. It truly helps to begin our day with at least 5 minutes of meditation. Our focus should be on picturing each & every student behaves & interacts kindly & exhibiting kindness as they interact with each other. We must implement give rewards for their good behaviors extra credit assignments that teach boundaries other children interacting in kind & courteous ways. Promote the compassion & goodness of Jesus in them. Amen🙏🏽🕊️🤍
It kind of seems like you’re forcing your religious views, without any other thoughts or opinions expressed on the issue. Just saying
I'm all for this IF the nails interfere with them being able to do anything. But I will say, my daughters adore them and we've never had that issue because we buy the youth sizes and trim them if they're still too big. Both of mine have Easter bunnies and butterflies on right now and couldn't be happier about it.
God says we have not because we ask not. So pray and ask for what you need. Amen We are in Grace Jesus is God. Talk to him Love him ask him to help you.
Can he show you what a comma is? Maybe a period or some ellipses? You are too interested in what children are wearing and less interested in grammar.
Like it 💯💯💯
Have your colleagues to sign a petition to take up the chain of command to have the nails prohibited & to only be worn if they are easily removed & only to be worn during official school large celebration & dances. During teacher meetings at the start of the meeting all of you should pray and ask God to have you school administrator s to ban or place your certain restrictions on the time & type of temporary nails that can be worn. Amen🙏🏽🤲🏽🕊️🤍💙
No, end schooling. Rigid, controlling adults need unlearning
Arizona is a "parent-led" education state, and many states have adopted this philos. In most Arizona schools, teachers will have difficulties, including loss of job, if she/he attempts to correct the student's behavior, including dress/appearance. My suggestion would be that you leave the "damn" thing at home and approach the school principal/vice-principal/ director/ or school leader, depending on your school type, and ask TACTFULLY if there have been any changes in student dress policy. If you teach science, music, or other hands-on subject where the fake nails interfere with the student's ability to do work, say so, "JUST CURIOUS HOW I SHOULD APPROACH THE ISSUE IN THE CLASSROOM." Enjoy the rest of your school year!!! Retired science teacher.
