The simplest solution is to use the salesforce inspector chrome extension. You can write a query and export to csv. Just save your query and run it whenever you need to pull data
If your goal is to get the data into excel, look into using PowerQuery. It has a built in Salesforce connector. I have not used it myself, but I have generally found PowerQuery to be pretty simple to use while being very good for data ETL.
I think you need an integration with tableau. We looked into it some time ago and got sticker shock at the development costs and didn’t move forward. Curious to see what others say
I definitely think you’re looking for a data integration. I use big query which plugs into a dashboarding program called sisense, but I can see someone above recommended tableau which is similar :)
You should ask salesforce what data APIs they have that is the easiest to integrate to big query. I know they exist. Getting them to build end to end SFCC > database > dashboard will be expensive, but if you have someone on staff that can write SQL you only need the SFCC > database component
What about using PowerBI or a Power Apps flow?
Power BI has an already built connection. I would advise against Excel because the data size is usually pretty big. But if you really wanna use excel you’d use the PowerQuery to create that connection. I’ve been using PBI to connect to SF and it works great.
