Can we talk about how hard it is to find genuinely supportive women in finance? I’ve had some incredible allies, but I’ve also encountered women who seem more interested in gatekeeping than lifting others up. Is it internalized pressure, scarcity mindset, or just bad leadership? Either way, I wish we talked about this more.

Struggling to stay on top of my REG study schedule. Just started FT last month and whew I forgot how hard it is to work and force yourself to study after. It’s doesn’t help that I haaaaate taxes. I’m thinking I might start studying in the morning before work so it’s out of the way, but I’m really not a morning person. Anyone else do this?? Barely started and I test the beginning of Dec. Wish me luck!

I'll start; I'm privileged enough to have been given the opportunity to work and learn deeply on Linux and Kubernetes, and I get to tinker and play with them all day. Problem solving with them is a "fun" part of my job.

Of course most things aren't roses and sunshine, but I'd love to hear the positive parts of what you are doing, or what you like to do at work.
