It took me 10 attempts to pass REG and at least 4 attempts to pass the others. The great thing about the cpa is you can take each part as many times as it takes! I always learn more and more after each retake, and things just start to click. After I fail, I give myself a day or two to be sad and then I order a new NTS, review my score report to understand my weak areas, then make a game plan for my retake.
If the CPA was easy, everyone would be licensed and it wouldn't prestigious anymore. Everyone fails but not everyone talks about it. There's nothing to be ashamed of, we're all going to be CPAs no matter how many attempts it takes.

Omg yes 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️. I have fail all of them at least once. Failed aud multiple times. Like 5+. Stopped counting. Too painful. I also last far because I failed audit by 3 pts. That one was the worst.
I give myself a day. Feel sorry. Do nothing it complain and feel the poor me, all of it. Then next day I make my schedule and get back to it knowing my ultimate goal of I want to pass so dang bad and no way in hell will I tell my daughter I quit when she grows up.

Oh. I am hoping to pass far again this cycle and then will be done. Just keep at it. We got this!!!
Yes multiple times - I think just reminding your self that more people fail than not can be helpful (because I know your only seeing the successes posted on LinkedIn and not how many times it took them to get there.) Definitely take a day or two do recoup and pick yourself back up, but just remember it’s a test of perseverance and it’s not about how smart you are. Just know one day you will pass, and hopefully that is enough to keep you going.
I failed audit twice and far once and I’m letting the holidays blues subside and I’m gonna go at it again
Took me two tries before I could pass. The second time I took the exam, I was ready to give up but then I tied to look at the key areas where I lacked the most and focused on that. After that the exam was a breeze. Hope this helps!
I failed twice. Failing is just part of the process towards achieving your goal. I was never discouraged when I read the results. Afterall, I know to myself that I did my best.
I passed on my second take. The day I received the news, my world crushed. I couldn't process my emotion. Good thing my mother was there to comfort me and tell me that it is okay to try again.
I failed my first exam. I took a break and take the next exam two years after. I took that time to prepare and I passed on my second take.
Thank you all so much. It's really helped me out a lot. Honestly, a lot of this advice is applicable to a few areas of my life right now. I feel encouraged to go for it again.
You got it!!!
