I can't speak to the cutting of your hair aspect specifically, but I've been trying new, different hair styles (completely out of my comfort zone) recently and the only reason I feel remotely confident about them is because I found a stylist with patience that I can trust. My stylist is honest so I can set my expectations and will sometimes suggest alternatives. Good luck!!

I cut my hair recently and have been keeping it in an Afro for the past year. No specific tip but I feel like overtime you get more comfortable and used to it.

Idk if you’re a wig girlie but in initial stages I’d sometimes wear a wig when I was going out, however, once I got comfortable, I started craving my natural hair out so much more. I’m not sure how helpful this is but I’m sure you’re a baddie with the TWA

I have been working in Austin/cedar park/ round rock as a dental assistant for two years. I’ve just been promoted to office manager at a small private practice. What would be an appropriate hourly wage? Currently no benefits are offered, but may be in the future.

I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well.
