I'm stressed with the current job of software developement role in the company and now I'm not much satisfied and interested in this role of doing development job. I'm completed Bachelor of Technology and recently completed Distant MBA degree also along with my current job. So what should I do next. I'm in need of help from all.

Left big law as a 5th year. Currently working at a small firm, billing around 5 hours per day, firm typically makes partners around year 7. Huge pay cut, but loans paid off and I have way more time for hobbies/self care. Life is good. AMA.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I’m a financial advisor (Series 7 and 66) and I really wish I would have become an accountant or investment banker. I like advising, but it’s a grind to find people to make new clients to sell to in order to survive. Are there any exit strategies for a successful young 26 y/o advisor to move to investment banking or a salaried advisor job?
