Do I love these jeans because they're expensive and marketed to be cool or because they're actually super cool-looking? What do you all think of them? I know I'll have to wait a few birthdays before I feel worthy of affording this for myself though 😛

Not in this lifetime will I spend that much on a pair of jeans.

Happy to sell you a pair of my husbands paint and grease stained Levi’s (from working around the house and maintaining our vehicles) like the pair in the middle. How about $500?

Hahah sure, can I see a picture? lol

None of those look cool, good, or flattering. I wouldn't pay $40 for them, let alone $750.
AG and Joe's Jeans make some more flattering throw back wide leg jeans though, check those out.

Thanks for the recco! :D

They remind me of jnco jeans from the 90s. It was a no for me back then, and still a no today.

Hahah guess that's been the common consensus

You do you, but I can’t imagine these being flattering on any body type.

I also love acne studios but the jeans are overpriced. Go there for shoes, accessories, dresses, blazers.

I wear a lot of acne. Just not their jeans!

If you like them go for it! Everyone spends a little extra money on themselves once in a while; if this is yours, that’s awesome.

They look comfy. I’d definitely try them on first if you can to make sure they make you feel good.

Thank you :D

Interested in how much others spend on food per month and what that breakdown looks like between at home or ordering out.

My husband and I have no kids and order/go out very rarely, maybe once a month, and our grocery bill for just the 2 of us has risen to around $750-$800 per month this year.

It's starting to feel very unreasonable to spend so much despite not wasting much. I do buy mostly produce but not always organic, and very little meat.

I recently bought my 1st home in TX. I want to get into real estate and eventually own/rent out multiple homes. Are there any good recommendations/tips on books/articles/websites that others have used to get started?

I've read about HELOC and cash out refinance to get a 2nd home but articles are so scattered that it gets confusing which is better in terms of tax benefits and immediate costs, etc. Anything others have found helpful that summarized how to get started would be great!

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?
