If you want parks / breweries Knox / Henderson is good - closer to white rock. From deep ellum the Santa Fe trail also feeds up into white rock - but that’s more for if you want to bike or do a longer run (lake is 10 miles around, Santa Fe trail I think is 3). Uptown also is right by the Katy trail. Deep ellum is a little more hipster / funky - think live music and art murals. Uptown is more of your classic yuppie area - walkable and clean, almost suburban in feel. I don’t really recommend living downtown - more of a business district and rents are similar to uptown so doesn’t make much sense.
Lower Greenville and Knox / Henderson are also solid!
Either Uptown, Deep Ellum, or Downtown...in that order
Deep ellum is wierd bro! Creepy people with 15 nose rings and white boys with dread locks like the pirates of the Caribbean. It's just creeps me out. It feels like witchcraft lol victory park by the Mavericks stadium or uptown is the real place to be!
Agreed with all of the above (except as an ATXer, I like Deep Ellum; C3 exaggerates).
Added note, EY is in Victory Park, so that neighborhood of uptown is super walkable for you and is attached to the start of the Katy Trail.
Design District has cheaper rents if that’s a big factor for you. West End would be you most walkable downtown place if interested in being near Victory Park
