There are very few consulting-related professional awards at junior levels (or anywhere, really).
In industry, people can get recognized via department, job function, etc. Adcom knows this. Don’t try to stretch something out of nothing. Of course you’re a high performer, note that elsewhere. It is not an award.

I think this is a unique one where that would qualify. My go to is always an email to admissions to make sure.

I included a few awards I got in college for extracurricular stuff/academic competitions (ie won $5000 in a startup competition, which goes well with my post MBA goals)

Super helpful! I actually have something similar but put it under academic. In hindsight, makes more sense here. Thanks!
This should not be confusing. Professional performance reflects in your CV/ promotions. The AdCom wants to know if you did something outside of your job KPIs (all firms have some type of awards, very difficult to get and that's why relevant here). They want to know if there's more to you than just working your ass off in your job, which most applying at this level already do.
Would an early promotion classify as an award? (Only top 2-5% are able to get it)
