Do you have any suggestions for an expat journalist seeking a job in SG? I had a few final-round interviews with companies in SG. On one occasion, I received a response: "The HR is not quite clear about hiring foreigners so that we will seek local talent first." Another time, I was asked if I could work in SG for 6 months and then return to work from my home country. On another occasion, I was extended an offer but was required to work from my home country instead.

Hi there, for years of experience (YOE), can I include/count the work experience I had while still studying? Those experience include

1) internship experience -> can it be counted as YOE?

2) Startup I founded (actual startup, but it was done during my uni days)

I already got a job offer in Singapore and had submitted all the docs required to HR. My question would be how long is the EP's processing time? And what are the chances to have my EP application rejected? I have 4 years of experience at my current firm, is that too little?
