Haha you're not alone. Clothes are kind of like moods, what excites you one month can suddenly feel “meh” the next, especially when something new enters your closet. That “expiration date” on loving clothes isn’t just your ADHD, it’s a universal thing, but neurodivergence can definitely add an extra layer of novelty-seeking or restlessness to the mix.
Rising Star
You’re young and trying to figure things out. Chasing the latest thing doesn’t make sense in the long run. Do some exploring on styles and go for an overall look. I’m older and know exactly what looks good on me, age appropriate but interesting, how to use accessories, making sure things FIT well.
Whatever you do, get off social media to influence your decisions.
This is why I don’t purge things 🫠
Trends don’t last. Collared shirts and dress pants do.
I do not care. If it’s clean, pressed, and conservative enough to make my senior stakeholders feel comfortable, I wear it.
