Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. I moved from london to us with them. You need a min 18m with company at lvl 9+ to be eligible. You have to get target market to sponsor your move (pull} and home market approval to relocate your headcount (push). You need to be able to do something the local market can't skills wise to get paperwork approval too. Visa move only but they can renew multiple times and turn to permanently.
Network with your target office leadership to confirm they’re willing to take you. Easiest to get on a project in that office and then ask for the transfer. check careers marketplace for openings as well. But networking can get roles opened for you that aren’t available on marketplace.
Is it better to reach out to leadership for a project first and then apply to the role? Or is it better to apply to a role first and then reach out to leadership letting them know you’re interested and you’ve already applied? I do agree though that 99.9% of the time it’s genuinely about networking and who you know at Accenture.
