Does anyone know the extent of hiring freezes in consulting (MBB, Kearney, OW, Accenture, etc.) and if there is an expected end to the freezes? Any specifics are appreciated - I’m hoping to apply early next year as an experienced hire (2.5 YOE in finance), and am based in Canada (but am willing to move to the U.S.)

I've applied to a couple Data engineer positions but it seems I don't have the qualifications for them. Should I get a CPA for Transaction Due Diligence?
I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. I certainly do not want to do Audit. Would you recommend getting the CPA considering my career aspirations? Do you think it’s worth it? If not, what is the best way to use my time efficiently?
