Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

Any suggestions from mature audience to achieve a big pay raise.

How do firms give bonuses to associate attorneys? Quarterly, monthly, annually? What is a bonus based on? Money recieved, billable hours, etc?

Had first round behavioral + a question of technical skillset in the interview for Insight Analyst Role in Financial Services EY.The Interview went well but when I emailed them asking the outcome after 4 days,they mailed me saying the manager gave good feedback but believes you are suited to another business area and will contact soon.

My yearly appraisal in on the way. I worked for the same client for the last year but in 3 different projects. I received client appreciations in all 3 projects and in addition I also helped my account in creating proposals, etc. What should I expect in terms of rating and monitory appraisal. I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult.
