Don't be a Uber driver it's not the effort or pay. Uber recently had it where you were told the miles after pick up for a ride and could estimate how much you would earn from this, but never knew where you were going. Meaning you could get a 40 minute ride 10 minutes away, but not knowing where you're headed after pick up. Now they have it where you are told how many miles away how long it will take. You are not informed of the pay, distance after pick up or destination. How is this legal?

Plus you don’t get paid for waiting for your next ride. Which if you do get another fair you don’t get paid to go pick them up until they get in your car. I’m a former driver and on one of those platforms they require you to wash your car, provide water , candy, gum for the passengers. I gave up driving bc it wasn’t adding up. Especially with the overhead of gas , maintenance costs of my vehicle and insurance. Not to mention your safety not knowing who you’re picking up was always a hazard. Especially if you go out for eight hours and you’re bringing home $ 60.00 for all that time after all you’ve done and spent just to do the job. Not worth it

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.
