During notice period is it mandatory to hold office?

Does VP or SVP really mean anything in Talent or Business Affairs? Does it actually bump salary up significantly or does it just mean a free parking space that no one is using since we’re WFH? Genuinely curious as I see some people with VP or SVP that have less experience than many with just a Sr title.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? I just completed the interview process at CGI, the HR called thereafter saying that I've cleared all the rounds and they'd like to give me an offer. They also sent a couple of mails for required documents. But I am yet to receive the offer letter, is this usual?
