I'm in the exact same place, 4 weeks. I've been focused on small wins, whether it's updating my resume or learning something new. It's helping me feel like I am still progressing. Also, talking to friends or networking is keeping me motivated. Just take it one day at a time. And give yourself grace and patience!
I took a customer service job, which was a lot less money and I “dumb down “ my resume. I just put the basic on. I did this to get a job and work my way back up the ladder. This is the 2nd time I did this tactic. I didn’t lie on my resume I just didn’t add my sales in it . Or account manager . I just said I wanted to change my career path and less focus on sales and more focus on the customer side of my skill level.
I lost my job in November and it was definitely tough to keep going. I got rejection after rejection and I thought nothing would ever come through. Fast-forward today was my first day working at a company who I have been trying to get a job with since 2017. The reason the other opportunities didn’t work out is because this is the perfect job for me. You’re a perfect job is out there just keep persisting.
6 months here and boy has it been a lot of ups and downs… and sooo soooo many applications.
At this point I’m taking ownership of the time I have, getting everything in order so when I do find the right fit I can move into it without outside noise. I will find a fit, I’m extremely capable and when it does happen it will be great!
I've been job hunting for 2 months and a half now, it is terrible. Sometimes I wish I never left my job before securing another one. I was there for 5 years and it wasn't so bad, I just wanted to work remote 🤦♂️

Go back to your parents basement and come back out when you’re ready to work hard.
It's your full time job now to stay positive and prospect for new roles. You've had hard quotas to meet before, this is no different. You will drive your own success. I too was part of a RIF at the end of last year and have struggled to find the right role for me.
I know it can be so tough but hang in there! Something great is on the horizon, just keep taking small steps in the right direction and you'll get through this.
Month 9 for me...
Find a temp agency to work with. It’s better than nothing and they actually helped me land something in a month

I’d love to know what’s going on at the other end of the phone and email. I have 35 years of experience and I’ve been rejected from complex jobs simple jobs but all in my field and all related to exactly what I do. It’s truly unbelievable.
