EY applied for my H1B transfer at the Nebraska Service Center. Package reached on 4/30 but I have not received a receipt number yet. EY Law claims they still didn’t receive the RN. Is this normal? What actions can I take?

How transparent is your firm about your H1B application? Do you get your application receipt number? I’ve worked really hard to get this job and made a lot of life changing decisions and worried about losing all this just because my application isn’t picked in lottery🥺🙁.

Tax question: my SM changed my hours with a location I never worked at, from 2020. When I asked for a change, he is hesitant since it’s a long process. Would it cause any issue on visa if I filed a tax to a state I never worked in?
