I started thinking about next steps for my education and initial thought was to just go straight to MBA but then I started hearing about people with BS in Business and Masters in different areas not that closely related. Writing annual goals. What are examples of how to write “quantifiable” goals as a consultant? Are you measuring number of relationships built, projects, or something else?

Most of consulting is advising on solutions to problems, but I don’t control the outcome, whether the advice is implemented, or the budget. Sales is easy (e.g. “sell $2M of products/services this year”) because there is a clearly defined measurement. What can consultants measure?

Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American.

I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more.

Does anyone know if criminal stuff like this and immigration related things are separated?

Got a job offer from small consulting firm (<200 people) and they are ready to file my GC from day1. About to resign in next couple of weeks once I receive my h1 approval.
But Deloitte sent a notification that they are restarting Perm process. Currently with Deloitte - nothing has been filed. They have the JD and all the documents from my side but haven’t filed pwd yet. Stay or move out .?

Hi! I’ve started Green Card process at my firm. Both me and my spouse are working on an H1B visa. Can I / Should I be including her on my application as a dependent? If not, then what would be her path to Green Card through my status.

Started the internal GC process in October 2018. Today I-485 status changed to "we ordered your new card." My jail free card is finally on the way I guess. Hope everyone with pending I-485 gets your GC soon!
