Check out your local running store! They’ll help fit you into a style shoe that works for you needs, because what may fit well for someone’s foot won’t fit well for yours. If you’re being conscientious about money and the shoes there are too expensive, see if they have last year’s model in/find it online
Revel 2 is good for mid distance runs. I have a pair of Nike vaporflys that have helped me through a bunch of half marathons but looking to upgrade to a full and trying to find the right shoe for it. Hoka one one is what I’m looking at
Loved my hokas but run only 15 miles a week and my shoes were shot after only 4 months and started to receive awful blisters...loved how they felt until the blisters. Now I have brooks and like them and they should last a long time
Brooks are great for people (like me) who have higher arches bc theyve def got more support! For heavier mileage I adored the DNA and the Ghost- those took me through half marathons and three fulls. Definitely on the lighter side if you don’t wanna feel like your shoes are “heavier”. If you’ve got wider, flatter feet maybe consider checking out asics! They’re def made for ppl who don’t require as much support :)
