To put it bluntly, I know certain people with less experience and a lower performance rating are getting paid more than me due to my role working with payroll data. I suspect this was due to the fact that I did not counter offer when I accepted this role, which was a few months ago, and now I regret it.

I have an interview coming up for the same company where I currently work but for a different department and different role, the thimg is hiring manager mentioned that their salary range is less than that of my current role.
