Quit or sabbatical.
It doesn’t end
I was in the same boat. I found I needed something new to excite me. I tried a two-pronged approach. 1- I took care of myself (health, weight, exercise first leading to more energy and a general mood improvement; 2- I took on a new challenge at work jumping into an emerging technology where I could get excited again about learning something new and having a real impact.
You need to find what works for you. Over my career I've made company changes at the 5-7 year mark and that re-energized me, but the above is working while staying put (for the first time in my career).
My approach right now:
1. Taking a break and just disconnecting from work
2. Doing a few therapy sessions
3. Doing a comprehensive look at financials to decide when I can retire
4. Have started liking day trading and feel excited about it
Unless you have existing financial goals or other commitments, why keep grinding it out? Three reasons to do things in life: 1-They're lucrative. 2-They're enjoyable. 3-They serve a greater good. If your job checks none of these boxes, why keep doing it?
Yes, just knowing retirement is in reach could change your whole outlook.
Leave! Find another job.

L4 was the biggest trick Accenture ever played….
And it worked
L5 is probably a dream compared to MD. No formal sales targets.
P1 makes a good point. If you’re losing sleep and stressed out over work you need to stop and reflect what is best for you (kind of what you’re doing now). While a recharge would be great, I think something else needs to change.
Do you think a shift in industry or practice is viable where you are?
Is there another area that interests you to a degree you’d want to go the extra mile?
Have you considered exiting consulting?
Starting to think, may have to do. For now taking some time off and heading to spend time with parents (overseas)
