First consumer-targeted AR glasses are available at Verizon. Sound like they’re a bit of a flop on the app ecosystem side of things but still cool tech and way, way smaller than the Hololens and Magic Leap. Will take a while to get there. Get the impression that Apple’s v1 glasses will be VR with AR features (ie full occlusion) before releasing something like these

I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…
