Say you went to dinner with colleagues, and they ordered an extravagant meal with expensive wines, but you only ordered one small dish and didn't drink. Your meal is a fraction of what theirs cost.
You get a message from your boss the following day asking you to pay a shared equal split for the entire bill, which ends up being quite expensive.
Should I just cough up the cash, or do I speak up? How do I say something while being respectful about the situation? Not sure how to navigate this.
When going from ACN to a competitor (e.g Big 4) will they initiate the exit as soon as they are informed of the move? Or will they still allow a few weeks notice?

I am feeling nervous.
I have no idea what this site is really but despite liking where I work , having my own office , great hours etc - the money just doesn’t cut it . We make association based magazines - 20% for new business , 15 % contracts and maybe 10 if I cut a deal - but they aren’t audited publications and only range from 1-4 issues per year - I’ve consistently finished 2nd in overall sales for over half a decade now at least - but I think I might have made just over 50k on my best year . I mean I’m as good
What are you looking for in a UX Writer? We’re building a mobile app within Med tech, it will partially include a medical device but the package will focus more on well-being. The market is US focused and we will possibly need someone with both short and long format skills. Any thoughts?
Graduated May 2021, been at a top tier firm since then. I was supposed to transition to associate after passing the bar (just took feb). Now I’ve found out I’m being let go, with a 4mo runway. Mainly because of conflict with Senior Associate. Any thoughts on possibility of getting hired at another top tier firm even though my bar results are not in? Partner said I shouldn’t have any trouble landing new job, but I’m technically not a lateral so idk how true that is. Would love some feedback.

I hear a lot of posts suggesting that you talk to the manager of the team you'd be working for before you join the team. (especially at Amazon). What are some of the things that you'd ask the manager and what would you look for in that conversation?

I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
