What are some cons of working at MBB? Bad work life balance is probably the biggest but ‘what else’?

Who did the amex spots with the violinist and the people all shot from behind? That's not Ogilvy, is it?

My team at sweetgreen has 2 Senior Technical Program Managers roles to fill in LA + OC. Base + bonus negotiable but could be high $100s to low $200s. Equity is on top of that. DM me for a referral!

Since George Floyd's murder and the sudden Corporate America "wokeness," I (black guy) have been routinely contacted by unacquainted Partners who explicitly state something to the effect "Client X wants diversity, so we'd like you on this deal..." It really comes across as tone deaf and completely patronizing. I appreciate the efforts to diversity (albeit forced), but Partners really need to learn how to not be so supercilious in the approach. You don't have to overtly state that I'm the quota.

Is there a bowl that would be for best exit opportunities for those who are in consulting? My experience is in tech risk. Kind of feel like I’m stuck leaving the big 4 to only go into a compliance role in industry

I am headed to Waddell and Reed tommorrow morning for an interview. Anyone have any advice or knowledge of there practices that can not be found on there website. Appreciate any information.

Just had a performance review with my SM while drinking Jack and Cokes in the Delta lounge... As God intended it to be.

I received an email from my KPMG recruiter about 2 hours after my final interview asking to speak with me. I assume I am getting an offer. Should I expect salary negotiation on the first call or how does this process work?

Recruiter doesn't respond back for feedback on why I didn't make it after final round interview when his email mentioned that they are happy to provide feedback. After following up twice, any idea on how I could have the feedback?

I feel like my kids 1st grade teacher is being too strict, but I'm not sure if this is normal or I'm being sensitive because it's my child. E.g. she gave him 2/10 for his math homework because he doodled on the page, colored in the circle that has the page number, didn't draw the word problem neatly, wrote his last name under the name line, and says some of his numbers aren't legible. All his answers were correct, except one where he forgot to fill in the blank. Is this normal? X-posting

Whenever I don't feel that great about my project, I think of what a pigeon considers to be a successful nest.

Newly laid off and considering going into consulting. Has anyone done it with a VC or PE firm? If so, I’d love to connect.
