Ok! One week later! The only ad still sticking with me is the Bill Murray Jeep ad. I’d love it if they made a few more of these.... (anyone still here?)

1. Pick a classic film from childhood.
2. What if it was 90 sec long?
3. Imagine the actor is the same age they’re now.
4. Stick in product placement.

Best - NFL: Take it to the House, kid; Google. Worst - Michelob (Beer in its organic form? Yikes). Get Fucked - Planters. Stupid Fact - Olay spot taught me that there’s a human being named “Busy”.

Can't stop thinking about how big of an opportunity Snickers missed with the "Chefs" being in the Superbowl. While everyone else was pre-releasing their spots...

Half the ads could have worked, if not worked better, without star power. Can we start a non celeb ad Super Bowl 55?

For me, it was Google, Alexa, Jeep, Pringle’s, NFL / Walmart tie. Very few insights this year. Lots of borrowed interest, and A LOT of ads that shouldn’t have been in the game.

Loved Little Caesars, Cheetos and Google. Tide took a big step backwards from last year. Vayner should be ashamed of that poorly executed lazy, predictable Planters spot.

We do a lot of self promoting, so to do something a lil bit different. Shout out to all the people who worked their ass off to make these spots. You’re the real MVPs

Halftime show. Everyone focused on the dancing and their tiny outfits and missed the Hispanic kids in cages on the field and JLo singing “Born In the USA” while holding the Puerto Rican flag. Badass

The meters and polls will land where they may, but I think there’s a case to be made that Google had the best ad, and Jeep had the best Super Bowl ad.

I just saw the Facebook spot and was laughing so hard at the logo at the end. That's freaking humongous.

I think the best ad was Applebee’s with Robert Palmer’s Simply Irresistible as the song and all the pictures of salads. Love the font they used. Very clever.

Every producer and BA manager nightmare. Bill Murray appearing in the Jeep SB spot. Now every creative will pitch using him.

Overall, this SB was just like many SBs, nothing truly remarkable happened. Nothing that moves the industry forward happened. No innovation happened. Some fun was had but the game was best. Onward!

That was fun. Some winners and losers. But glad we play the game.

Creativity is the soul of advertising and branding. The true test of what we’ve seen tonight will be judged on what pushes our industry forward. What we celebrate years from now.
