Hi! Question. How does your company handle the communication between customers and solution engineers during integration? Do you use Slack, Jira, etc? We are using Slack but some customers won’t use Slack so then it’s bleeding over to other forms of communication that are less ideal. I’m starting to wonder if we would be better off doing Jira tickets. 🙃

I work in NY but live in NJ. Last year I worked all year remote from NJ and filed taxes accordingly with no income prorated for NY. I got an audit letter from NY State Tax saying I owe tax money to the state instead of getting a refund of 7k that I was expecting since I paid all state taxes to NJ. QUESTION – can Florida taxable income be reduced for depreciation for which no tax benefit has been derived due to the federal 469 limitations? It is also worth noting that we have multi-year 469 carryovers into 2019. Also, we know California allows for this type of State level offset so that the state 469 c/o will be different than federal.

If this was not a closely held corp subject to 469, there would be no issue here as the current year NOL would exceed the bonus depreciation add back.

How early do you all jump on zoom calls? I'm always the first one in the room and I'm starting to worry my boss will think I sit around doing nothing until the meetings!

My wife and I are first time home buyers and are struggling to figure out if we should go for a 20% downpayment (which will be kind of a stretch for us) or go for lesser DP, say 15% or 10%. The fact that a less than 20% downpayment attracts additional mortgage insurance (PMI), we are not able to make up our minds whether we'll be better off paying extra money in insurance every month or pulling our means to pay full 20% down.

Sounds like I'm going to be induced early because of some high blood pressure spikes. Any advice / words of wisdom? While I like that I'll "know" the date, I'm upset with the idea of forcing things along (and equating it to a longer labor, higher c potential, sitting in the hospital in a mask for forever, etc). I had my first 4 years ago and labored at home for a long time - we were in the hospital for 2hrs tops before she was born. I just imagined it would be that type of experience again...
