I interviewed for an internship at an agency I wasn’t super excited about, but wanted to get some interview practice in. When I met the ACD who interviewed me, we really hit it off and it made me (..)
Taking some time off. Need some book recommendations. Some light interesting non-fiction. No self help or management books. Just interesting topics that won’t make me think about work.
Any international transfer suffering from ACCA?
Anyone have experience with bariatric surgery, good or bad? I’m 6’0, currently 270lb (normal range pre-Covid was 220-250lbs) female recently diagnosed with Graves Disease (thyroid disorder) that has me swinging hormonally all the time affecting my mood and emotional coping skills, metabolic hunger signals, energy levels etc. I’m interested in a consultation and feeling bariatric surgery may a tool to provide some “bumpers” on my weight situation. Interested in others experience here!
55K / 10 years experience (5 in-house / 5 agency) / F / New England One thing lead to another and I’m 3 years overdue for a pay raise and title bump. Will I ever catch up?
I’m considering applying for remote legal admin positions in addition to my current role (also remote, with flexible schedule). Do we foresee any issues with working two remote jobs, assuming no conflicts? How could I go about talking about my current role, if asked? It would be nice to have an extra income source, and since I work from home, I don’t see the time being an issue.
Those of you who are waiting or opposed to the COVID vaccine - do you feel obligated to divulge your true vaccine status to restaurants, employers, etc.?
Still confused on moving back or not (currently subletting place to someone). What have your experiences been like? Rent worth it even though work still remote?
TAP airlines - need to verify credit card before checking in (also before return even when on one ticket). Is a credit card some sort of magic in Portugal?
I feel like I cannot ever clear a coding interview round when the questions are around graphs and other dsa. I mean its easy for me to work with apis and architecting a solution. Apart from leetcode is there anything that can help me get a better at these interviews?
What would be a better exit, Accenture Strategy manager or IQVIA strategy Associate Principal? About the same total comp.
Do your executives and ownership teams care about culture? Do they care about innovating? My top executive is very “stuck in their ways” and refuses to accept that he is creating disconnects with his team.
Hi does anyone know average dubai salary (in AED) for 14yrs experience solution architect??
What does the Investor Relations career path look like for someone coming in at an early-ish level? I’ve heard it’s kind of dead-end and doesn’t really teach you any hard skills but pretty easy, especially if you can produce a decent track record of fundraising. Also, I’ve heard comp is ok and typically lower than consulting (and WAY lower than the investment teams…) and mostly concentrated among the top dogs. Accurate? Anyone know people who took this path?
Do any real people actually want schools to reopen as it stands now? Im hearing so much about it but it feels like a weird disconnected political thing and not a live humans with kids thing. *Obv the goal is to get covid under control so kids can go back safely, this is assuming infection rates stay steady or continue to climb
All clients need to explain conference call etiquette when WFH to their employees. So far I’ve heard people washing dishes, talking to their spouse and kids, making lunch, and playing with pets...
How does on get global services on United. Anyone figure out the threshold yet? Based on experience, it's not miles. If it's spend, and Platinum is $12K PQD, maybe it's $20K PQD?
Shared this in a comment thread on another post and want to get thoughts — I’m at 9 interviews for an M role at a startup (close to unicorn). The final loops were early this week and the recruiter reached out today to schedule one final interview focused on skills not in the job description. Should I just pull the plug?
One of our older advisors is about to retire so his book will be split amongst us junior advisors. What can I do to pitch myself to him and to management to earn the bigger accounts?
