My biggest recommendation for anyone entering any industry right now is to try and network and get referrals. The job market is very competitive right now and people are having a hard time finding new roles, especially when they don’t have experience in the industry they are trying to get hired in. I would definitely network and try to get a referral to help you get your foot in the door somewhere.

Try to figure out where in finance you’d like to be, there are a lot of different areas. Also don’t feel tied down if you get into one and want to move into another. Seen a lot of people get burned out staying in the same niche for way too long. Get experience, if you can find some lateral roles where you are already at or anything really, getting started is important however you can get in.
