Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. What does the group focus on in terms of work, what are hours like, decent exit Ops, interview process etc? I'm currently an Analyst in an industry specific Corporate Banking group at a competitor of Citi so I have experience underwriting HY transactions and portfolio management.

Other than trial and error and general experience, what have been your best resources for learning about industry rules and regulations and advising clients when they make requests outside of that?
All my clients have regulatory and legal experts in house, but I find that sometimes hierarchical politics and upper management can stop them from fully embracing that role. After watching the parts of Dopesick relating to the ad agency, I feel like it wouldn’t hurt to brush up on my knowledge… TIA!

I'm an SVP/strategist with 25 yrs exp., but only 3 years in healthcare. I'm being recruited for a GSVP "account leadership" role (i.e., not on the strategy team) for two big unbranded campaigns. It sounds great, they know my med/reg comms exp. is very light, and I think I can do the job, but: Is there a real future for me on the account side if, at GSVP level, I still haven't done much meg/reg? Would this be the end of the line for me, with limited mobility because my expertise is too narrow?

I was heavily recruited to another department in a leadership role and verbally offered the job. It will be a lateral move with a larger ceiling. Is it unreasonable to try and ask for a raise? Just started a new role in finance and I’m the only woman on the team. It’s been 3 weeks and the guys have been pretty unwelcoming and kind of rude. The first day everyone was welcoming but it went downhill since. How to constructively talk about the long term future with SO? We (both 26) have been together 6 years with the last 3 as LDR.
