For starters, you did more than most just by starting (Kudos). IMO, you shouldn't dissolve the organization. Have you tried partnering with other organizations? Campaigned for sponsorship? It may not be enough considering the current situation around COVID 19 but it's worth a shot.

I am starting to realize I brought this nonprofit to a market of individuals who aren't largely ambitious (hence why people get out and return home). Not to mention funding is dry amid COVID-19. Feeling like a failure as a consider dissolving the organization before my first board meeting. Any words of wisdom? Encouragement?

I have networked with a few potential partnerships. The difficulty lies in my lack of available time to apply to this endeavor. Also, the services we are looking to provide are IMO saturated. I feel vets are tone-deaf at this point hearing about all of these non-profits who want to help.

Where are you located OP?

Currently in northern San Diego. Our non-profit is primarily virtual. I did get that right. I wanted the business model to be resilient to things like this pandemic.

Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

Does anyone else find that even though the cannabis industry is booming, budtenders lack basic benefits like decent pay, healthcare, PTO, vacation, maternity leave? My company was acquired recently by a much larger company and they considered my pregnancy a “pre-existing condition” therefore I got nothing for maternity leave although the prior company had pretty much accepted my claim. There’s much more but I’m pretty disgusted in this industry.

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?
