Honestly, it feels like a setback, especially when DEI was creating a more inclusive space. Without those activities, it can definitely feel like progress is stalling. It’s frustrating, and for some, it can make the environment feel less welcoming. How have others in your workplace been reacting?
It's a hostile environment, but that's the point. The attorney general, on her first day in office, posted a statement on the DOJ website threatening to prosecute private companies who engage in DEI policies. The administration believes it has a mandate for its racism, and here we are. Upper management doesn't want to be fighting the Justice Department for four years, so they cave.
This is just insane 🤯

My previous company had DEI programs, but they stopped about a month ago. I still have a lot of friends there, and surprisingly, they said they haven't noticed much of a change yet.
