As an Interior Designer I 100% agree and it's my biggest gripe about the industry. I often think of Interior Design as a more user focused approach and the Architects as a more stylistic approach. I'm frustrated often when I get involved down the line a bunch of things haven't been accounted for such as users with disability or the lack of actual appropriate space allotted to specific functions. It's such an afterthought that it has begun to cause legitimate frustration for me in my career. If I had been involved from day 1 I could have advocated for the appropriate considerations but we're too far down the line now, it's half built.
such kind of thoughts are old. everything should exist in harmony
