GC question: if, as an EB-1, I am eligible to skip PERM, AND I apply for premium processing of the I-140 (takes 15 days), AND I request consular processing then won’t I get my GC in 6 months?

Trying to figure out whether I should go for it and when is the earliest I can apply and leave the firm. Thanks in advance

No & No. EB1c (I assume C unless you are a scientist or other highly accomplished person) 140 premium processing is not available and processing time for 140 is upto 1 year based on service center. Then additional time for 485 processing. Unless you are extremely lucky and a outlier. 1 absolutely year is minimum.

Never heard of I-140 in 15 days but these are interesting times, so what do I know

No concept of premium in EB1, ask you lawyer to file 485 and I140 in parallel that is real time saver

Do people really actively hop to different firms every 2-3 years to solely increase their compensation? I know it’s like a cheat code for higher salary, and everyone on this bowl talks about it, but curious if people actually do this as their career/compensation strategy. Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?
