Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

Bad leadership
My managers have always said they wouldn't ask us to sacrifice anything they wouldn't also. Sounds like really bad leadership.
Had a project where the SM committed us to travel M-F while SM continued to leave on Thursdays. Vowed never to work with that person again. Definitely bad leadership
Tip off hr
He cannot actually make you do that. Unless there is a specific reason why that time is blocked off, this is worth going to your CC over.
I am a SM. This is BS. if leader is demanding everyone work, he/she should too
Very bad leadership. Kind of immoral if you ask me. I consider that week quasi-sacred
Bad leadership
Give me his name I'll take care of that dude
lol I'd quit if I was asked that
Do you have this in writing?
So... slippery slope. I want to leave earlier on Thursday (have to fly further) - wrong of me to ask a member of my team to stay late to ensure client presence? (Live closer) Would pose it as "if you can't I will, but this would be nice" type question.
BSM1 I think that's fine. OPs post = not fine
BSM1 - you need them to baby sit the client? Why?
Will you be at client site? If not, work remotely (given the week I doubt you'll do much) and save your pto days for later in the year.
But is it? That's a canned line and why canMt you guys work 12 hour days between now and Chirstmas so that you can take those days off? Does he has some metric to meet by the end of the calendar year?
