Anyone else a bit annoyed with the announcers right now? I get you disagree with the decision to not start the race, but man there was so much rain out there I can’t blame race control. I have attended happy hours, social events, and lunches, but I am not getting the same amount of traction as the other new lawyers who are white. I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? Like unreasonably denying clear facts, or trying to fish for a way to sanction you? Usually it's solo defense attorneys that get extreme with it, but I've seen some questionable stuff from BigLaw too. Hopefully I'm not the only one.
