If the profile is same, with EY India you will be in a Partner track and is front end client facing. But it depends on what you want to do in your career.
Yes, better WLB with a good fixed pay would be my priority.

If you're functional guy with mba, go for EY India. (On-the-ground work, more client facing, rigorous). Caution: wlb sucks in general.
If you're a tech guy go for EY GDS. (Better tech peer network, better wlb since you'll mostly not be working from client office, onsite opportunities, majorly foreign client stakeholders)
Actually I'm from engineering background, and kind of fed up with the continuous busy seasons all year round (Q1-Q2 loan staffing, Q3-Q4 busy seasons).
I'm more inclined towards GDS but worried about how they have it in Deloitte USI here, continuous stretches of 12-14 hours during busy season of 5-6 months.
I'm worried if it's the same in EY GDS as well.
Is it possible for you to refer me for the same profile?

Could you please elaborate a little, why GDS might be a better choice? I have heard things like better WLB and fast track promotions (also heard the same from interviewers)
So your plan of action should be the following:
1. Find out people in EY India and GDS on LinkedIn who are working in the profile offered to you and understand from them the exposure they have got
2. Find out people in both places who have made a switch to industry (preferably your target companies) and understand from them what are their views on your offers and where you will get better exit opportinities
