Does anyone have any career insight for a tax associate in corp dev? Is it as lucrative as regular corp dev? What do you do on a day-to-day basis?

I’m currently at a studio that has been good to me. They took a chance and allowed me to change career paths. They gave me numerous opportunities that lead me to now, being the head of a department. The big guys at the top has expressed they could see me as the guy to run the company one day but it’s all talk and possibilities right now. I’ll have to wait for now. On the other hand, I have an offer in hand from a much bigger company to be part of their business development. Any advice?

Sales and Trading vs PE? What is comp, WLB and career trajectory like. Doing my MBA now and likely going into consulting, but not sure. Might plan to exit to PE but if S&T offers decent hours and similar pay, may just skip the whole consulting to PE business.

Dilemma… I left my old company 4 months ago. Today, they’ve reached out to me to ask me to come back at a higher role, Operations Manager. I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it. Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)?
