How is staying away going to help? So all Black, Asian, Hispanic, gay, autistic, introverted people should stay away from offices? For how long? You reckon things will magical fix themselves?
You aren't making sense. On one hand, you say to stay and when asked what to do, you say you don't have to stay. And then you whine that others sound like children and tell them to tip-off reporters. Here are some things I advise anyone being harassed by racists in the workplaces to do if they decide to stay: 1) consult an attorney but do not directly involve them in communication with your employer. 2) document your intentions, your actions and their responses verbal and non-verbal and write these as casual emails to your chief diversity officer, asking for support, amass those interactions on your personal computer and share with your lawyer every week or month. 3) consult your own therapist, document how often you visited and work related issues you dealt with and the impact it's had on your life. 4) if the offender in your workplace says or does anything that is unwelcome, tell them it is unwelcome, then document it, inform your manager or HR personnel after 2 or 3 recurrences. 5) leverage your information and negotiate for what you want, whether it be a promotion to have access to more resources to deal with the job, raise to deal with the hazards of the job, transfer to be in an environment more conducive to getting work done, or otherwise.
