I went to Morocco this passed March, it’s amazing. Hope u had a lovely time.
I stayed for about 2.5 weeks.
My fav place was Chefchaouen (the blue city) it’s beautiful if you’re a picture person. Amazing shots there and the people are sooo nice.
Casablanca - Gotta see the Hassan II Mosque it’s stunning. (wear socks if you don’t like being barefoot)
I visited Rabat - I thought it was beautiful. But with the traffic coming back it took the whole day.
I thought Essaouria was a bit overrated, it’s just a beach city. But the fresh fish was soooo good.
Visited the Agafay desert- I recommend if you haven’t done a camel ride / don’t have time for the whole Sahara Desert tour (but I wish I did that one)
Even with my 2.5 weeks I wish I had more time.
I’ve to Morocco a few times and for a first time trip, I agree with PwC.
I think you have too long in Casablanca and not long enough in Marrakesh. Also, I did Tangier and thought the shopping was better than anywhere else
You can’t skip Chefchaouen!!
I just booked a trip there this morning! I will be following this post.
I would skip Casablanca tbh. Erg Chebbi was easily my favorite part of Morocco
If put more in Marrakech than Casablanca
Does Fes to Marrakech include the Sahara / Atlas Mountains?
Otherwise I’d add Chefchaoen. I didn’t get to go since we were either a tour group but it looks beautiful.
Thanks everyone. I wondered about Chefchaoen. I will see how we can add it. PWC1 thanks for the sock tip.
