Snow days. I’m right there with the kids in hoping for one!
Let not forget the immunity boosts. We all been sneezed on by kids so many times we're probably impervious to anything.
Getting off work pretty early most days. I love having my evenings to structure how I want!
My winter break is 4 weeks off! December 6 until January 5th
Meaningful work.

To be a positive force and mentor to the next generation of 🤭 learners.😂🤣😅 Dang. I almost got through that with a staight face and not laughing. Naaa. Sticking with June, July, and August.
We only have July and most of August off. We are in until June 24-25 most years and now report back @August 25-26th.
Love those babies and see when special ed kiddos learn to read and do math!
It keeps me young (I’m retiring in two years,
but still young enough to enjoy it and mobile enough to travel)
It keeps me curious (I’m reading 1984, Animal Farm, and Fahrenheit 451 over break)
It keeps me growing (I’m using AI to compare the idea of Totalitarianism in these three novels and how it pertains to the US in 2025)
It keeps me useful (I have a reason to get out of bed)
It keeps me relevant (I know how to talk with teenagers
Teaching definitely has its up and down days- even some up and down years…but when all is said and done, I’m incredibly grateful for this vocation. I know I am very lucky 🍀
