Got a same-day job offer from a small defense contractor, Streamline Defense LLC. It hasn’t even been 24 hours, and they reached out this morning asking me to provide paperwork and respond by 11 a.m. because a government client is asking. Some red flags: asking for personal information via Smartsheet, meeting minutes sent via Otter.ai, offer letter phone number doesn’t match official contacts, and few employees on LinkedIn. Glassdoor reviews were good and made it seem legit, but I’m cautious.
Have you done a deep dive review of their legitimacy on chat gpt and grok to see if more red or green flags pop up?

I get job offers three times a day for remote work, latest type of scam.. one time the scammer didn't even bother filling the template and their message had (insert company name her ) etc it was hilarious.
It’s a remote job, go into the client once a month and I was thinking that too bc the turn around isn’t that quick for gov’t clients.
There is a legitimate company with that name but looking at their job postings, none of those look remote, nor could they ever be for security purposes. I bet someone is pretending to be them. I would reach out to them via the form on their website to confirm identity of the person you’re talking to
yeah I did that and the person I had a conversation with yesterday was the one who reached out and mentioned they could talk through HR process with me 🚩

You can verify government procurement contracts.
So can a potential scammer. If its elaborate they can just as easily reference real contracts in a fake posting.
I don’t know anything about this company in particular, but I work alongside a lot of smalls in the government contracting world. They are easily able to do same day offers, though most are contingent upon client/prime approval of the resume and ability to obtain/hold a clearance or public trust. If the work is sold and funded, the small may be trying to beat a competitor to fill the position and expand their footprint. Again, not sure about this company but I do see this kind of hiring behavior frequently.
