If you really wanna be so exclusive, why even come to this country? Why not just stay in your hometown with people who talk like you, eat like you? OP & others, we know there are majority of telugu speaking people in the IT world, the problem we see is the social involvement & mixing with others. Biasing is also another mindset seen. Wondering why people only say about this specific group.!! I might be wrong but tried to put in what I have seen. No hard feelings but I have this open discussion with my Telugu friends & a lot agree to it.
Desi include subcontinent. This is a desi group not further division so keep it as is. Telugu is a division. By your logic, why not start separate group for Telugu instead?

Partly there is my fault in the post that I should have posted in a way like “any telugu want to meet.. “ etc in stead of “time to..” but you guys taking too far than even necessary.. cultural affinity is common and natural thing. Affinity towards a community does not mean hatred towards other cultures.
