You should make an effort to negotiate. As long as you're putting forward a serious counteroffer it should be fine. You may get part of it. Companies generally don't rescind offers if you negotiate in good faith, that usually happens if someone comes off as unserious.

With clearance at the client they want to hire for, you have leverage. Don’t be afraid to ask for more. They want you more than you know
I asked and they told me there’s a performance based bonus. So they could not budge. It’s crazy because they need people for this project
