Sounds more like a poor process. The point of a second interview is to learn more about the candidate beyond what you already discovered in the first interview, to see if this candidate is the right fit for the position. If it’s a different person doing the second interview, I can see why there may be some repeat questions. However, it shouldn’t be the same interview all over again
I think so maybe but maybe they just wanted to make sure? Idk
Was your first interview with the same or different people? On the phone vs in person? You may have ticked a few correct boxes but needed to meet with your direct supervisor before actually getting the offer.
