My wife started as an M at Accenture earlier this year coming from industry. I’ve never worked at Accenture or any b4, but I had to explain to her how up or out works. She also didn’t know that she came in with 24 months at level and what that meant. Really surprised none of this was communicated during hiring or by her manager.

Yes, needless new rule, except for the fact that they're trying to reduce headcount. Also, it's not just an Atlanta thing - companies everywhere telling people to RTO. The federal administration was the catalyst.

I heard about Truist. 5 days a week
I did too. They made it 4 days last year and now going up to Jan. It is just needless.
ADP, 2x a week for Jr staff. 3x a week if you are in a people manager role.
That's the case everywhere these days. There are some roles. More for IC data scientist. I was looking at more senior manager roles for 8-10 years experience. But obv companies are biased to promote internally vs hiring from outside
